2. Detailing Conditions

2.1. WTO, FTAs, AFAS: None, except:

•  Type of investment: joint venture;
•  Scope of activities: foreign-invested economic organizations are only allowed to provide inbound services and domestic travel for tourists entering Vietnam as a part of tourism bringing tourists into Vietnam tourism; not providing services to bring tourists from Vietnam to abroad (outbound);
•  Guides in a foreign-invested business organization must be Vietnamese citizen.

2.2. The Law of Vietnam:

• Traveling service:

Type of investment: joint venture, other form in accordance with regulations and specific itinerary in international treaties to which Vietnam is a member;

Vietnamese partners participating in investment: Vietnamese enterprises that hold an international travel business license.

• Travel agents: may only accept to sell travel programs of travel businesses to tourists to enjoy commissions; not organizing tourism programs.
